Quick Turnaround and Minimal Downtime

We understand that your craft is essential for your business and that any downtime needs to be minimized. With this in mind, our surveying service is tailored to your exact needs, flexible and with a quick turnaround time. All our commercial surveys are concise and speak your language; enabling you to make good, informed decisions about your vessel quickly and with confidence. Above all, we want you to be safe working your boat, minimize time in the yard, and protect your budget from unnecessary expenditure.

We are located in Falmouth, Cornwall, surveying boats and vessels regionally as-well-as throughout Europe and further afield.

Commercial Survey Report

Whether the intended use of your craft be operations in diving, fishing, transport or pilot services, you will receive a report that is professional, insightful and stated in a clear and concise manner with use of photos and video (where necessary). We do not offer a ‘check list’ format style survey report, as every vessel is unique, we get in and make sure we check and inspect where we need to, and write about that specific item on that specific vessel. You will quickly be able to see current defects and/or potential failures alongside recommendations – all prioritised using our A, B and C ranking system, so you can rapidly understand key points and make an informed decision.

All major insurance houses and underwriters will accept the report you receive.

What Our Surveys Cover

The hull is always checked for its structural integrity, condition and weather tightness. We rigorously check all through hull penetrations to ensure they are appropriately fixed to the vessel.

Not only will the electronics be checked for functionality during a condition survey, we will also offer our suggestions on whether they are the best for your trade.

We use thermal imaging technology when checking over the engine, electrics, and electronics as well integrity of the deck, hull and bulkheads. A thermal imaging camera can quickly and efficiently flag up faults that would take the human senses and traditional techniques hours of testing and troubleshooting; thus cutting down our time on board.
