Small commercial vessel coding through MCA and YDSA coming to Seaworthy Services in Autumn 2018
All UK owned Small Commercial Vessels (SCV) must comply with the relevant Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) Codes of Practice and be issued with certificates by an Authorised Certifying Authority.
A SCV is defined as a commercially used vessel that:
- Is up to 24 metres in load line length
- Carries a maximum of 12 passengers
